Privacy policy

Updated October 25, 2026.

Video files

Local tools process selected photos and videos in your browser. Optional cloud background removal uploads a resized PNG to our processing endpoint and OpenAI after you opt in. We do not store image bytes or filenames in our database. The provider processes the image under its own terms. OpenAI may retain API content for abuse monitoring under its data controls. FrameKit does not promise zero provider retention. Temporary previews are released when tools reset or the page closes.

AI credits and essential cookies

Cloud AI uses a signed, HttpOnly cookie for up to 30 days to track the first three free uses and ad credits in this browser. Clearing cookies can reset browser identity; network-based limits and a site-wide budget still apply. The server stores credit balances, request states, cost reservations and a keyed network hash instead of a raw IP address. Completed reward callbacks are browser-reported and are not proof of ad revenue. Local tools remain available if you decline rewarded ads.

Anonymous usage counters

When enabled, the site sends limited action labels (tool page opened, processing completed or failed, download clicked) to our server. We store daily aggregate counts by tool and event type. We do not include the uploaded file's name or contents in these events. Server-side infrastructure providers may process network metadata according to their own terms.

Display advertising

Google AdSense display advertising is currently disabled. If activated after approval, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar identifiers to serve and measure ads. Where required, a consent message will offer choices, including refusing optional purposes and changing preferences later. Local tools do not require advertising consent. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Site analytics and rewarded advertising

Cloudflare Web Analytics measures website performance and general visit statistics. Rewarded advertising is disabled until the publisher connects a real Google Ad Manager ad unit and the required consent setup. Once enabled, the ad SDK loads only after you choose to watch an ad. Ad providers may process identifiers under their own policies; required consent choices must be configured before serving ads.
