Checking cloud AI availability…

When cloud AI is available, the first 3 uses in this browser are free. Further credits require an available optional rewarded ad. Credits stay in this browser for up to 30 days and are not transferable.

Cloud processing sends a resized photo to OpenAI and exports up to 1024 pixels on the longest edge. Check the result because AI can change fine details. FrameKit does not save the image. Cancelling after processing starts may still use a credit.

Still JPG, PNG or WebP · Up to 20 MB · Up to 40 megapixels

The first use downloads about 19 MB to prepare the tool. Your photo stays on this device.

Cutout refinements

Refine your cutout

Cloud AI keeps its detailed transparency. Choose a background color here without using another credit.

Lower keeps more of the photo; higher removes more.

Use a little softness for smoother edges, or zero for a crisp cut.

These adjustments update the existing cutout without analyzing your photo again.

A transparent background for your next project

A transparent PNG lets the subject sit on another background without a rectangular border. The checkerboard in the preview represents transparency and is not added to your download.

Refine without starting over

Once the first cutout is ready, change the strength to keep or remove more detail, soften the edges and try a new background color. These changes reuse the same analysis, so your photo does not need to be processed from scratch.

Private processing on your device

Local mode processes your photo on this device and downloads its model only when you start. Cloud AI uploads a resized image to OpenAI after you confirm. Essential cookies track AI credits, and server-side quotas protect the service budget. No image is stored in the FrameKit database.
